      Description

      On macOS, the command cvmfs_config chksetup reports an error when the FUSE for macOS kernel extension is not yet loaded:

      $ sudo cvmfs_config chksetup
      Error: character device /dev/osxfuse0 does not exist

      This error message is misleading because it is shown even when FUSE for macOS is correctly installed and is working well. This can happen, for instance, after a reboot of the computer and before mounting any FUSE-based file system. A subsequent mount of a cvmfs file system works and subsequent executions of cvmfs_config chksetup don't report an error.
