      Description

      My minimal example in the attachment below consists of

      1) opening the notional "rose512.jpg" from tutorials/image and displaying it

      2) saving the image converted to a ".bmp" file.

      When doing this with the command "root -l rose_image.C", all goes well, the code prints

      ```
      original jpg Dims:512,384
      ```

      and ImageMagick "identify" identifies it correctly:

      ```
      (omited for unclarity)/analyze> identify rose512.bmp
      rose512.bmp BMP3 512x384 512x384+0+0 8-bit sRGB 589878B 0.000u 0:00.001
      But when I run it in "batch" mode, that is, with "root -l -b rose_image.C the output image is wrong, has smaller dimensions and a wrong aspect ratio:
      (omitted again)/analyze> identify rose512.bmp
      rose512.bmp BMP3 306x242 306x242+0+0 8-bit sRGB 222694B 0.000u 0:00.000
      This does NOT happen on my notebook, running root 5.34/36 under cygwin: here the dimensions are exactly identical to the original.
      Thanks for your help!
