      Description

      Hi Axel,

this is more of an idea / suggestion than a real feature "request":

Most commandline-based, interpreting programs out there (psql, various shells, several services offering telnet access etc.) close gracefully if the current input_line is empty and ctrl+d is pressed / EOT is received.

It would be very convenient if the interpreter-commandline would act in the same way to be more consistent with such common behaviour (and pressing Ctrl+D is usually much faster than typing out ".q" + pressing return).

      Cheers,
      Oliver
