ROOT on most Recent UBUNTU versions, with gcc 5.3

when trying to do a simple command-line operation such as 1+1 I get

IncrementalExecutor::executeFunction: symbol '_ZN5cling10printValueEPKi' unresolved while linking [cling interface function]!
You are probably missing the definition of cling::printValue(int const*)
Maybe you need to load the corresponding shared library?
(int) Error in ValuePrinter: missing output string.

I guess it is related to the gcc version. Is there a receipt to compile ROOT and get it working? Thanks a lot!
