Prototype new surface-based Solid modeller for GPU-navigation
Description
Create a prototype surface modeller which uses a small set of surface primitives and information accumulated on common physical surfaces (portals).
Composed of portable data structures and code that can directly in both the vendor-specific and vendor-agnostic accelerator programming environments (Kokkos, Alpaka, ... )
Potentially in collaboration with Orange team (part of Celeritas team).
To be used to assess the performance characteristics, as a candidate navigation engine in AdePT (and similar) GPU-based particle transport.
